About Linny:

Loving and taking care of animals is what I do best! My love for it all stemmed from whenever I was a child. I was the girl that was always taking care of the neighborhood animals because it brought me such joy. At one point, I even had a pet squirrel that would come when I called it. Then when I got my first Siberian Husky from the humane society, I knew what my destiny was.  

In the year 1990, Linny’s Kennel was born. I named my kennel after the ones who made me into the woman that I am today—my grandparents; Eleanor and Charles Linnemeyer. When my grandfather served in WWII, often he was told his name was "too long." So he gained the nick name "Linny.” Years later, I inherited that nickname. I went from being called Linda to Linny.

Years later, my children were born. All three of them gained interest in the kennel at a young age. You can still find them snuggling on all of the dogs. As a matter of fact, nowadays some people refer to my daughter Nicole as ”Little Linny.”
